Join your beach cities tour with a “Native Californian.”  We’ll travel south to the scenic artist colony of Laguna Beach where the ambience of “Main Beach” is unparalleled and the shopping and dining is too much fun!  We continue north to Newport Beach and Balboa Island.  Taste the local’s epicurean delight, Balboa’s famous frozen banana with your choice of toppings!  Pass by Balboa’s quaint waterfront homes on the way to the ferry where we will cross the famous Newport Harbor heading to the Peninsula and Balboa Pier.  Discover the Fun Zone and stroll along the Pier and feel the sun and Pacific Ocean’s mist sprinkle your face.  Are we Having Fun yet?  The optional stop for lunch could be at Ruby’s Diner at the end of the pier.  Your choice!  We make our way to scenic Newport’s famous Cannery Village and Mariner’s Mile, the artist’s favorite for painting plein-air masterpieces.  Another possibility for the optional stop for lunch at the Blue Water Grill.  We make our way along the beautiful Orange County coastline driving through Seal Beach.  Would you like to stop and run into some of the charming shops?  No problem!  Remember, this is your tour!  Our final destination is Huntington Beach, Surf City USA!  It’s known for its long 8.5-mile beach, mild climate and excellent surfing.  The waves are California’s most epic due to a unique natural effect caused by edge-diffraction of ocean swells by the island of Catalina, and waves from distant hurricanes. Discover this Orange County city that defines Southern California as Surf City USA.  Explore the Huntington Beach Pier, visit the International Surf Museum, build a sandcastle or watch the famous surf events and beach volleyball tournaments.  Shopping and dining is endless on Huntington’s Main Street. Hint:  Buy a very cool T-shirt from one of the local surf shops!
